The Elephant and the Turtle

   An elephant and a giraffe are walking along a river when the elephant spots a turtle asleep on a log.  The elephant ambles over and kicks the unsuspecting turtle clear across the river.  “Why did you do that?” asks the giraffe.

    “47 years ago last week, I came to this river to get a drink of water, and that same turtle that took a nip out of my trunk.”

    “Wow, what a memory!” says the giraffe.

    “Yes,” says the elephant.  “Turtle recall.”
